HP is a company who upgrades their computer lineups more often then not and this continues to be the case for Europe. Although HP itself is part of the BDA, they also supported HD DVD and seemed to offer them more so then BDA but thats all past news. The new “Pavilion dv2800, dv6800 and dv9800 series models, which boast 14.1, 15.4, and 17-inch displays, respectively, along with your choice of Core 2 Duo or Turion 64 X2 processors, integrated graphics or NVIDIA GeForce 8400M or 8600M (depending on the model) and even a Blu-ray burner on the 17-inch model. If you’re looking for something other than a traditional laptop, HP’s also busted out an update to its monster HDX-9000 desktop replacement series in the form of the HDX-9300, and a new Pavilion tx2300 tablet PC (only the former boasts a Blu-ray drive).” So although not every unit is boasting a Blu-ray and how can we blame them when laptops can be as cheap as $300, its nice to see more Blu-ray units on the market.
