New Sony Bravia E4000

Can you spot the Bravia there? Look a little closer. Yep. That sexy thing in the middle is part of the new E4000 series, offering a ‘picture frame’ style edging in Midnight Sky, Aluminium, Pearly White and Dark Walnut to match your room decor.

The series is going to be offered in a 26, 32 and 40 inch, aimed at blending in with the surrounding by simulating a picture frame. This is being accomplished not only by design but by a Picture Frame Mode that displays images “like a real painting” when your not using the TV with the ability to load any pictures from a USB drive. The unit also boasts x.v.Colour d a PhotoTV HD mode for “lifelike reproduction of still photos from a connected compatible Cyber-shot or a compatible digital SLR camera.”

Pricing is yet to be announced but expect it to be cheap, compared to OLED TV’s.
