Anybody who is a fan of cars and gaming probably owns some version of Grand Turismo. Yes even those with spoilers on their Camry’s probably are car fans and gaming fans.. So its no surprise to anybody to pop in the game and not only be blown by the visuals, but truly how realistic the game is. So what better game and platform for all vehicle manufactures to show off their cars and have people be excited about them and partake in them. Easy enough right?
Wrong. For sometime, some manufactures have not played nice at all with the GT series. It was only until GT4 that we started to get a selection of BMW’s and not till GT5: Prologue that we actually have Ferraris. But where is our neighborhood friendly Porsche? (Boxster is not included but then again, we get the Cappuccino so I guess the Boxster is also welcomed but please let it be the S). Well according to Kazunori Yamauchi , will “probably” arrive. During an interview with the Official PlayStation Magazine, he said that by the time GT5 is ready, Polyphony Digital will have acquired “most” if not “all” of the major manufacturers. Now, this still could mean no Porsche but at this point, why hold out? Wouldn’t you want your fans to be able to drive your cars? At the end of the day, this will cost them nothing and is if anything, free promotion. So heres to GT5. Now ill be going back to some Prologue action. Damn the S class!
