Sony’s Reader PRS-T3 Leaked, Thanks to FCC

Sony Reader PRS-T2 and not Sony Reader PRS-T3

Our good friends at the FCC sure love spoiling Sony’s upcoming and unannounced products and we love telling you about them. For those playing at home, in the past two months alone, thanks to the FCC, we learned about the Sony VAIO Duo 13-inch and that the Xperia Z would head to T-Mobile. This time last year, the FCC spoiled the Sony Reader PRS-T2 and like clock work, they’ve now accidentally leaked us information on the Sony Reader PRS-T3.

Despite the leak from the FCC, we don’t know a whole lot about the next generation eReader from Sony. What we do know are a few simple specs like it’s 3.6Wh battery and  802.11 b/g/n WiFi. Other then that, all we have history to judge from which would indicate that Sony will likely announce and release this product in the next two months. It should be noted that the above image is from the Sony Reader PRS-T2 and not the Sony Reader PRS-T3. We’ll have more for you as it develops.

Are eReaders still relevant or should Sony throw all their might behind tablets?
