After all of these game announcements, Sony slowed down a bit and discussed the success of the PlayStation 4 and several new improvements coming to the platform. The first big announcement was that YouTube would be coming to the PlayStation 4 and users would be able to upload their videos directly to the popular service. Keeping with the sharing theme there will also be new DLC for The Playroom which allows users to better customize their surroundings to take full advantage of the PlayStation 4’s broadcasting functions.

The streaming service, PlayStation Now, will be entering open beta on July 31st and will feature several popular titles including God of War: Ascension and Dead Space 3. Vita TV is officially coming to the west and has been renamed PlayStation TV, This $99 console allows users to play Vita games directly on televisions and through the Vita’s remote play function will allow users to stream PlayStation 4 to other TVs in their house.

Next Sony announced new original programming coming to the PlayStation 4 in the form of Powers.  This show will be available in December and PlayStation Plus users will be able to view the entire season for free. Sony also showed off a fantastic looking trailer for the new Ratchet and Clank movie.

Sony then ended with several big announcements and trailers. Gameplay was shown from the recently announced Mortal Kombat X, Metal Gear Solid 5: Phantom Pain, and Batman Arkham Knight. Sony then announced that The Last of Us: Remastered would be coming to the PlayStation 4 on July 29th, 2014 and that Grand Theft Auto V will be coming to PlayStation 4 in the fall.

Finally, Sony showed off a brand new trailer for the next installment in the Uncharted franchise. Unsurprisingly the next game again stars Drake and is officially titled Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and is slated for a 2015 release. Does that title mean that this is the last Uncharted game? Only time will tell.
