Well get ready for the Xperia C3, Sony’s answer to this problem. The Xperia C3 has been officially revealed and it sports a front-facing flash to help you achieve the best lighting no matter the time of day or weather.

Update – The Sony Xperia C3 has been officially unveiled.

The smartphone all about “me” has arrived. Both a single-sim and dual-sim version will be available for this model. Sony certainly seems to have upgraded the features needed to satisfy selfie fans; a 5.5″ HD screen, 5MP selfie camera with the full range of camera apps and modifications to get the shot right before and after including: Portrait retouch, Social live, Picture effect, AR effect and more. The camera itself is new wide-angle curvature which is designed to mimic the human eye. It facilitates more natural light into shots and elimanates the black borders or “vignette” that sometimes creeps around poor-quality snaps.

Sony Xperia C3

The latest addition to the Xperia 2014 family is this, Xperia C3 codenamed ‘Gina’. The leaks show that the device is running a 2,500 mAh battery and we can see a magenta colour option. Not a lot else is clear from the rumours and of course nothing official from Sony yet, though the screen looks like it might be around 5″. This places it besides Sony’s 2013 Xperia C, which was an Asian release. But, the info on this new Xperia C3 is that is headed for a global release – not just Asia.

The leaks below were found on Digi-wo, while online Taiwanese shop ePrice is where the above shot comes from. Judging from Sony’s tweet above, we’re clearly going to see something made for selfies and we won’t have to wait long to see the rest of the details.
