Sony’s 2014 Gamescom Lineup Includes ‘Journey,’ ‘Unfinished Swan’ for PS4

From LittleBigPlanet 3 to Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, E3 had some big reveals for the PlayStation family of devices. But E3 isn’t the only major gaming show this year, and the Cologne, Germany-based Gamescom is right around the corner. While there are several unannounced titles sure to be front-and-center, like Media Molcule’s colorful new PS4 game, or maybe the next big Corey Barlog joint from Santa Monica Studios, Sony Europe has (accidentally) revealed a preliminary list of what will be playable on the show floor.

Over at gamescom.4theplayers.de, PlayStation Europe’s official site for the four day event, one section of the site had a scrolling list of titles that PlayStation fans would be able to play on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.  In addition to titles like Bloodborne and DriveClub, a few notable inclusions on the PS4 list were Giant Sparrow’s The Unfinished Swan and thatgamecompany’s Journey. Also listed for PS4 was a game originally slated for a PS3 release, the PlayStation Move-controlled teen-horror game Until Dawn.

In all, more than 30 PS4 titles and 20 Vita titles were listed on the Gamescom site… until that section of the site was taken down. But thanks to the quick work of some posters on NeoGAF, the entire lineup can be seen right here. While there are sure to be some other big announcements on the horizon, the games on display right now seem like just the variety that fans of the PS4 are accustomed to seeing.

Gamescom kicks off on August 13 for members of the media and trade industry, and is open to the public from August 14 through August 17. SonyRumors will be covering events from here in the United States, but will effort to have all the important coverage on everything from Project Morpheus to the next big games.
