The Sony Xperia E3, a Budget Smartphone with a “Flagship Design”

While the Sony Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact might be the bright stars in from IFA, Sony knows that not all consumers need that much power. In fact, chances are that most of us don’t need all the firepower in our current phones. In order to cater to those with something a bit more budget friendly in mind, Sony has announced the Xperia E3. According to Sony, the Xperia E3 features a “flagship design” with plenty to like and they’re quite right. Besides a nice sleek look which can be seen above, the Sony Xperia E3 also offers 4G LTE connectivity that sometimes budget phones skimp on.

We’re pleased to introduce Xperia E3, a handset that matches form with function at an affordable price point. E3 combines fast performance with impressive features, all wrapped in our flagship Z series design that you can be proud to show off.

Ironically, despite the statement above, Sony has yet to announce pricing or availability on the Xperia E3. While it’s a sure bet for the Xperia E3 to be released in Asia and Europe, chances of its release in the US are likely nonexistent. Once released, the Sony Xperia E3 will be available in white, yellow, copper, and black.
