Months after discontinuing Music Unlimited, Sony announced on Monday that Spotify would be available on PS3 and PS4, effective immediately. Spotify and PlayStation users alike will feel comfortable with the interface, which gives you clean and integrated access to your favorite songs.Spotify Interface

Setting it up is a breeze – either enter your current credentials (or create an account) when opening the app for the first time, or use Spotify Connect from your smartphone or tablet. To use Spotify Connect, just open up the free Spotify app on your device, make sure your phone and console are on the same wireless network, et voila! You’ll be playing DriveClub to your favorite song in no time.

While even the most basic account will give you access to all of the content that the music streaming service has to offer, you can upgrade to Spotify Premium to get rid of those pesky ads and access your library while offline for $9.99 a month. A premium account also offers better audio quality across its massive music collection, which will give Hi-Res Audio fans one more reason to tune in.
