T-Mobile has yet to announce when Android 5.0 Lollipop will be arriving for its fleet of Sony smartphones, but if recent reveals are any indications, it should be sooner than later. While T-Mobile has confirmed that it will support Android 5.0 for the Xperia Z1s and Xperia Z3, they also abruptly pulled sales on all Sony smartphones two ago. Many wondered if this was due to the impending reveal of the Xperia Z4, which was announced earlier today. However, the Xperia Z4 currently has no release date outside of Japan.

Regardless of the reasons behind the move, Android 5 is coming to T-Mobile. More details after the jump.

Just a few weeks ago, Android 5.0 Lollipop firmware update 14.5.B.0.220 was certified by the PTCRB for the Xperia Z1s. Since that time, a newer build (14.5.B.0.228) has been certified by PTCRB. Hopefully the sped up rate is an indication that T-Mobile will soon release Android 5.0 Lollipop.
