Ultra-thin Sony 4K TVs (X900C, X910C) Arrive in Summer

Starting in May, most of the 2015 Sony 4K TVs will be available for purchase with a starting price of $1,299 (43X830C), which is insane when you consider what prices were two years ago. Alongside entry level models, you can even purchase the flagship X930C and X940C which feature HDR and are up to 75-inches in size.

The only model absent from the Spring release is the insanely thin X900C and X910C. Some more details after the jump.

Available in three sizes

  • 55-inch (XBR-55X900C) – $2,499
  • 65-inch (XBR-65X900C) – $3,999
  • 75-inch (XBR-75X910C) – $4,999

The X900C series is Sony’s newest model, which offers a design that’s slimmer than most smartphones. Measuring at .2-inches, they’re one of the world’s slimmest televisions and offer a ‘Vanishing Edge screen’ that fills the screen to the very edge so it appears that the picture floats on the wall.

According to Sony, the

X900C and X910C will be available this summer, pricing to be announced.

But as you can tell, we already have the pricing to go along with them, thanks to some leaked internal documents. The only thing we don’t have is patience for these beauties to drop in stores already. The saying “seeing is believing” couldn’t be better applied then to the X900C and X910C. Once available (we’ve heard July), I highly recommend stopping by a Sony store or Best Buy and experiencing them in person.
