PlayStation Vue Comes to LA & SF

PlayStation_Vue_LA_SFWhen writing an article, sometimes the headline is the worst part to figure. In this case, I wasn’t sure if I should lead with PlayStation Vue coming to Los Angeles and San Francisco, or the above. Alas, for better or worse, here we are. As the title suggests, Sony is expanding the reach of PlayStation Vue, their internet TV service, by nearly doubling its reach and adding to more major cities, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

More details after the jump.

As it now stands, PlayStation Vue is available in 5 cities

  • Los Angeles
  • San Francisco
  • New York
  • Philadelphia
  • Chicago

and can be accessed via PS3, PS4, and the just-released iPad app. Pricing for Vue differs as Sony currently offers three different bundles, which you can read about here. Alongside any one of the mentioned devices, Vue only requires an internet connection from you as the service’s entire goal is to help you get rid of cable. Sony is promising to bring the service to more cities by year’s end.
