According to Sony, the SmartBand 2 (SWR12) will

measure your pulse and stress level, so you can decide if today is a day to take it easy or go for it.

All of this is thanks to its heart rate monitor which can also simply display your heart rate if that’s what you need. Due to a lack of display, all information is shown on your smartphone with compatibility units needing to run iOS 8.2 or Android 4.4.

Even without a display, all is not lost as the SmartBand 2 is capable of showing you different notifications lie calls and messages via 3 closed LED lights. Better yet, different notifications can have different colors assigned to them so you instantly know what type of info the SmartBand 2 is trying to convey to you. A vibration motor is also built in.

The SmartBand 2 can last up to two days on a single charge with its 58mAh battery with a full charge only taking one hour. Available in Black, White, Pink and Indigo durable silicone rubber styles, with IP68 waterproofing, the SmartBand 2 will launch across 60 countries worldwide for around €119 ($132) come September.
