PlayStation Now Launches on PC Today

Revealed just a week ago for PC, PlayStation Now, the game streaming service which offers over 400 PS3 titles. is now available to download on Windows. In addition to the PC, PlayStation Now can be downloaded on PS3, PS4 and dozens of Sony devices like their 2015-2016 TVs and Blu-ray players. To kick off its PC debut, Sony is sweetening the pot for a limited time with new subscription pricing.

Till now, pricing for the service has been locked to $19.99 for 1 month or $44.99 for 3 months. Writing on PlayStation Blog, James Martin, Director of Marketing, PS Now:

 To celebrate the launch of the new app for Windows PC, we’re excited to announce one last bit of news. For a limited time only in the U.S. and Canada, you can lock in savings of more than 55% off the regular monthly subscription price! 

That puts their new pricing tier at $99 for 12-months, a pretty good freaking deal. Coinciding with the launch are also 6 new title releases:

  • Mafia II
  • Tomb Raider Game of the Year Edition
  • Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch
  • Sid Meier’s Civilization Revolution
  • Heavy Rain (with The Taxidermist DLC)
  • Borderlands: Ultimate Edition

And coming soon is Castlevania: Harmony of Despair. These titles of course join AAA games like Uncharted 1-3, God of War 1-3, and The Last of Us to name a few. For those curious enough, you can give the service a whirl for 7 days free of charge.
