Welcome to the PlayStation Store update for October 22, 2013. The update this week is one of the largest in recent memory and is crammed full of new releases, pre-orders, and great sales! The PlayStation 4 is now less than a month away from release and even more PlayStation 4 games are up for pre-order this month including Killzone: Shadow Fall, Battlefield 4 and Call of Duty: Ghosts.
Halloween is coming up soon and Sony has begun a multi-week promotion to celebrate. Both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita users can enjoy deep discounts on zombie games during this week’s ‘Sale of the Dead’. Both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita users can also become a hero today and explore the world of LEGO Marvel Super Heroes.

The JRPG Dragon Fantasy Book II continues the story started in Dragon Fantasy Book I which came out on both PlayStation 3 and PS Vita in April of this year. Unlike the first game, which was done in an 8-bit graphic style and paid homage to the Nintendo era, Dragon Fantasy Book II instead focuses on imitating the graphics and game-play mechanics the great RPGs from the time of the Super Nintendo. While there are many enjoyable and positive things to say about The Muteki Corporation’s latest offering, there are a few things that keep the experience from being everything it could be.
