Sony Begins to Tease Xperia Honami?

Honamiteaser

The Sony Xperia Z has been a success for Sony, especially in the East and Europe where Sony has properly supported and marketed the phone. At IFA 2013 in Berlin, it’s expected that Sony will announce the Xperia Honami, the company’s next flagship Android smartphone, which is believed to offer a 20-megapixel camera and 5-inch display. In case you were expecting a 6.4-inch display, you need to look towards the officially announced Sony Xperia Z Ultra for that. So with less than a month away from the what’s expected to be the phone’s unveiling, has Sony officially begun to tease us about the flagship phone?

Xperia Honami Power Button

Thanks to Xperia Blog who has the images, we can see a Sony teaser image with a September 4th 2013 date and Berlin as the destination. The traditional Sony logo is, of course, present to ensure that we make.believe. But if that purple dash across the screen seems conspicuous to you, that’s because it is. Upon further examination and a bit of zooming in, you can see near the middle rests the now typical Xperia power button which gives us a hint that the Honami’s would be screen is pointed up (or left).

Of course, all of this can be a hoax by any Photochoper but with less than a month till IFA 2013, we won’t have to wait long to find out all the details about the Xperia Honami. Either that or it will come, pass, and Sony still won’t have said anything about the Honami which means back to the drawing board for us.
