We’ve already talked fairly extensively about PlayStation Vue, the internet based cable service from PlayStation. Just recently, Sony announced the availability of Vue in LA and SF, bringing the tally of conquered cities to 5. Rollout while slow is expected to ramp up to more cities by years end. Things are presumably slow because Sony included local channels and therefor must negotiate locally within each city.
Along side the expanded cities, Sony also revealed the ability to subscribe directly to specific channels without the requirement of a package and discount for PlayStation Plus members. Those details after the jump.

When writing an article, sometimes the headline is the worst part to figure. In this case, I wasn’t sure if I should lead with PlayStation Vue coming to Los Angeles and San Francisco, or the above. Alas, for better or worse, here we are. As the title suggests, Sony is expanding the reach of PlayStation Vue, their internet TV service, by nearly doubling its reach and adding to more major cities, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Just prior to Sony’s E3 2015 press conference, Sid Shuman, PlayStation Blog’s head honcho, announced that PS4 will be gaining DLNA support, background music playback, and full media support from USB/HDD for PS4.
Just days before E3, the PlayStation Move 2 controller for Morpheus, the VR headset from Sony for PlayStation 4, has been leaked.

Thanks to our friends at the FCC which LOVE to reveal products before their announcements, we can report on and safely confirm the arrival of two new PlayStation 4 models. For those unfamiliar, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) must inspect any device in the United States which contains a wireless chip. In the case of the PS4, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi qualify it as such a device. According to their documentations, Sony has submitted CUH-1215A and CUH-1215B PS4 models with some big and small differences when compared against the current models.
