While many look towards the Cupertino camp to officially kick off the smart watch race, Sony is continuing to tinker away and improve their second iteration. Sony has announced a new firmware for the Sony SmartWatch 2 with build 1.0.B.3.46/1.0.A.3.8 that will bring some major changes to the Android based watch. Changes include larger fonts, new UI, and even a date to go along with the clock. After the jump, full list of changes await you.
According to Sony, some of the new changes include:
- Bug fixes
- Improved stability
- Larger font sizes
- Added automatic light sensing
- Added possibilities to “Fast scroll” in notification lists & notification events
- Added scroll bar in notification lists & notification events
- Stop Watch is Added as a native application
- Added possibilities to mark all notifications as read from the action button in any notification application.
- Added several new Watch faces
