If you’ve been camping out in Santa Monica outside of Sony Santa Monica Studios in hopes of catching a glimpse of the Stig or a tossed out paper with info about the next God of War game, then listen up. Thanks to the success of the PS4 and other hits from the studio which include God of War: Ascension (among other GoW titles), flOw, flOwer, PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, and the upcoming PS4 title, The Order: 1886, the studio’s 240 employees are beginning to feel cramped in their offices. With at least two AAA titles being worked on at the studio which includes The Order: 1886 among other smaller titles, the studio will be moving its location after more than a decade in Santa Monica to accommodate the companies growing teams.

The PlayStation 3 began it’s life as the destination for entertainment content. Blu-ray was supposed to become the dominant format following DVD, and the PS3 was the only video game console to support the new medium. As it turned out, downloadable and streaming video became the destination for entertainment content, as services like Netflix, Hulu, and even traditionally broadcast-based networks like PBS and ESPN took to the internet. HBO Go has found its way to many devices, including the Xbox 360 (still no timetable for an Xbox One release), but had yet to make it to the PlayStation ecosystem–but that’s going to change very soon.
