In two days in Tokyo, the worlds largest fuel cell exhibition (FC EXPO 2009) will be kicking off and all the big tech names will be holding their vision and prototypes of Fuel Cell technology. Sony will be attending as well for they have been working on Fuel Cell batteries for sometime now. During the conference, Sony will display two units. One is the above unit, a retro looking speaker, yet portable with 2 USB outputs that will be able to keep your cell phone or other USB devices charged for over a week. A more powerful version and larger is displayed for home or office use that can keep devices running for months without needing a charge. 

The systems both contain a methanol fuel cell and fuel. All I know is, I cannot wait for the day where I only need to charge my iPhone once a week and my Laptop works for 20+ Hours. Hit the MagicGate for two more shots.
