PlayStation Now Announced

ps nowToday at CES 2014, Sony announced a new game streaming service entitled PlayStation Now. This service will allow you to stream and play classic PlayStation titles to a variety of devices. Keep reading to see all of the details on this exciting new service.

It seems that PlayStation Now will be rolled out in stages. Sony has said that it will be available first on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 then followed by the PlayStation Vita. In addition to working on consoles, PlayStation Now will work on most 2014 models of Sony’s Bravia TVs. Sony has said that the service will then expand to other internet capable devices such as phones and tablets.

While details are still scarce, PlayStation Now will feature your choice of either renting specific titles or subscribing to the service offering you a range of titles to select from.

Sony has not announced any other specific dates, but there will be a closed beta beginning at the end of January with the full service aimed to be rolled out this summer. Keep on the lookout for more information as it is released!
