Sony Mobile hasn’t said much since it first introduced major upgrade plans but now hints are coming in.

Vodafone Australia has unveiled update plans for four Sony phones on its website. The world’s third largest network and owner of US carrier Verizon indicates the Xperia M, SP, TX and Z are being tested for Jellybean updates. Read on for the details.Here are the Vodafone Australia updates:

Sony suggested that some smartphones would skip minor Jellybean updates and bump up directly to 4.3 and now we know which ones this includes. Is your Xperia model is not listed here? Don’t worry because that not all Sony smartphones are available on any one network, so other Xperias are likely due to be updated around the world but simply haven’t been leaked yet.

If new firmware has been released by Sony to networks then the update directly from Sony can’t be far behind then.
