Sony Bluetooth X11, X33, and X55 Speakers Feature & Price Guide

Sony_SRS_X33_5

At CES 2015, Sony announced three new Bluetooth portable speakers: the SRS-X11, SRS-X33, and the SRS-X55. Featuring NFC and a battery that allows for hours of music playback, each speaker has some unique elements with a price tag that matches its features. To make the series that much more enticing to buy, Sony is also offering them in an array of colors that will either make them blend in with your house or stand out to give them a fun pop. After the jump, we have all the details from Sony’s 2015 Bluetooth speakers, including prices.

Unlike our other feature and price guides where we categorize Sony’s products by good, better, and best, the Bluetooth speakers offered by Sony all offer something that makes them unique. While you can argue that the X55, the most expensive of the bunch, is the best sounding of them all, it doesn’t mean that it’s the best unit for you pending the needs you have. As I mentioned above, these Bluetooth speakers all feature NFC, making it a cinch to pair with your Android device. For those devices that lack NFC, you can easily pair the two and stream your music via Bluetooth.

All three units also offer built-in speakerphones, making them a suitable device for even the office. When a call comes in, simply press the phone icon on the speaker and you’ll be able to hear the caller and talk back, thanks to the built-in mic. All three units should be able to last you the entire day with the X11, and X33 offering 12-hours of battery life and the X55 a more modest 10-hour.
