It’s always a good sign when a service you like expands to new regions and supports other popular languages. From a business standpoint, the more countries and languages that PlayStation can support means the more people who will easily have access to Sony’s content which in turn means higher sales. For gamers, it means we get to share our passion with others and a healthy Sony is only good for us as it translates to more money to invest in the brand we’re all supporting.

Now, the PlayStation Store has added another language to its arsenal: Arabic.

The PlayStation 4 already supports Arabic for its general UI but till now has lacked the ability to display the PlayStation Store in said language. Now, Sony has brought full Arabic support to the PlayStation Store.

Alongside Arabic support, players in Saudi Arabia will be able to make purchases via CashU in the PlayStation Store. According to Sony, in order to access Arabic, you will need to have a PSN account associated with

Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain or Lebanon

To do that, you can follow these simple instructions:

Via your PlayStation 4

  • Go to [Settings] > [PlayStation Network/Account Management] > [Account Information] > [Language]
  • Enter your password, select Arabic from the drop down menu and select [Confirm]
  • Select [Confirm] in the new language

Via your web browser

  • Go to Account Management. You can reach Account Management in a number of ways:
    • PlayStation App: Tap [PlayStation Store] on the home screen and go to [Online ID] > [Account Settings]
    • PlayStation Store: Sign in, go to your Online ID at the top of the page and click [Account Settings]
  • Click here and sign in for the account management site
  • Go to [Account] > [Account Details] and under [Identity] select [Edit]
  • Choose Arabic and save your changes
