Sam’s Club Could Offer PS4 for $299 Next Week

With leaked images and pricing should always come a huge grain of salt so remember that you’ve been warned! With that out of the way, according to a leaked image from what appears to be an employee, Sam’s Club (think Costco) will be offering the PS4 for $299. In just the past month, the leading console took an official $50 price cut, bringing down the MSRP to $349.

If the rumor holds true, you’ll be able to save another $50 from there but there is a catch alongside an additional goodie. Those details after the jump.

First, the good news. It appears that with the price cut, you’ll also be receiving a free game. The ad doesn’t really reveal a whole lot other than

 Free game included

Free game may very by club

It’s also unclear if the PS4 offered will be the 500GB model or 1TB though it’s likely a safe assumption that it’s the former. The only caveats to this is that Sam’s Club is a member-only warehouse which means if you’re not part of the family, you’ll have to fork out $45 for an annual membership. It’s also unclear if the deal begins on Saturday, November 14th or if it’s only valid on that date.

Either way, it’s likely that inventory will be tight but if you’ve been wanting a PS4 at a discount and have a membership at Sam’s Club, this is a pretty gnarly deal. Equally, if you don’t have one, you could look at it this way: with the normal price of the PS4, you could also receive a free Sam’s Club membership.

Just keep in mind the grain of salt though we won’t have to wait long to see if it all pans out or not.

If true, will you try to take advantage of the deal?
