Just the other day, Insomniac Games posted a brief two-minute video outlining their beliefs in regards to the current US immigration policy clusterfuck under Donald. In such a volatile political atmosphere, it’s refreshing to see a company, who typically has to be a bit more careful with their views towards social issues, take such a clear and bold stance.
I’m of the belief that one of the reason today’s youth (or millennials, if you prefer) lack a connection with the political system and what’s happening with the country is that they often don’t see how things can directly affect them, including immigration policies. Though not going as far to directly outlining that aspect of it, Insomniac Games, led by Ted Price, makes it very clear that this is something that directly affects their company which in turn affects the games you and I would play from them.
In addition to IG, the Video Game Lobby has also weighed in on the matter as have various members of Naughty Dog like head writer Josh Scherr.
